Howling Records' [Channel Nine] band was founded in Changchun in January 2000 and moved to Beijing for development in 2005. The band's music style is fresh and natural, expressing their persistence in pursuing dreams and insights on life with simple music. They are not a purely defined rock band, or perhaps they refuse to be called a rock band. Because both their music style which is dominated by pop elements and their fresh and healthy lifestyle seem to have little to do with "rock". They just use the form of a band and the musical language of "rock" to express their passion for music and value of friendship.
