Two months ago, John Woo asked a question on Yahoo! Answers to global netizens: "Why are we always obsessed with heroes in comics and never get tired of it?" The answer to the question seems unimportant. What matters is that we know John Woo is working on a super-hero work in the style of American comics.

A powerful pusher recommended a new comic to me yesterday, and its name is John Woo's 7 Brothers. Although it has this name, actually Woo only provides the outline. The real authors are Garth Ennis and Jeevan Kang. The former is exactly the author of The Punisher (revenge/ punisher, how could you not have played the famous arcade game by Capcom!) and Constantine (Constantine/hell detective, which has also been adapted into a movie)! Here is the official website.

I just finished reading the #1 issue of the comic. At the beginning, it was an introduction to Zheng He's voyages to the Western Seas, saying that Chinese people had already circumnavigated the world and discovered all continents as early as 1423, but they did not receive a hero's welcome when they returned home, and this great expedition was ultimately forgotten by history... Then it switched to the streets of Los Angeles... Six men were separately invited by mysterious letters to a small house in Los Angeles (of course, there was a little money attached to the letter). Apart from a list, they knew nothing about the purpose of gathering here, while a mysterious Chinese woman was intervening in a dangerous street fight at this time. On the other hand, a Chinese expedition team discovered mysterious things in a cave three miles underground under the Great Wall.
