The most anticipated ultra-cool movie of 2007, "300"

The film "300", adapted from Frank Miller's comic works, tells of the Battle of Thermopylae in 480 BC. King Xerxes of Persia led an army so large they could break a river by throwing their whips into it, invading Greece. Spartan king, played by Gerard Butler, leads 300 elite warriors to put up a desperate resistance due to the dangerous terrain of the Thermopylae mountain pass. This seemingly suicidal battle won precious time for the Greek city-states to unite against the Persian army, writing a magnificent page in history that makes gods cry. The movie uses a great deal of digital technology in its production, creating grand scenes worth appreciating.
