Answer: You would definitely say, what a silly question, who would be so stupid to spend money to suffer?
Many men and women have complained about their lovers or spouses having bad characters, being indecisive, and irresponsible. Knowing that staying together will lead to no good outcome, and resentment has surpassed love, but they "don't know why" they still continue the relationship and cannot break up.
