After the third "Beidou-1" navigation positioning satellite successfully entered space in 2003, it formed a complete satellite navigation and positioning system, ensuring the provision of satellite navigation information around the clock, regardless of weather conditions. China has thus become the third country, after the United States and the former Soviet Union, to establish a complete satellite navigation system.
