From December 7th to 9th, the national seminar on website construction of publishing houses, initiated by the General Administration of Press and Publication, was held at Beijing China Resources Hotel. Attendants included Sun Hongwei, division-level researcher from Department of Books of the General Administration of Press and Publication, Wu Lijun, deputy division chief of the Department of Audio-Visual, Electronic and Network Publishing Management, and Hao Zhenxing, director of the China Publishing Science Research Institute. It was reported that the "Investigation Report on Website Construction of National Publishing Houses" and the "National Publishing House Website Ranking", were announced for the first time in the industry at this exchange meeting.
