Hudong Water Scenic Area is one of the key tourist attractions in Pinggu County, located on the north side of Huangsongyu Reservoir in the northeast of the county seat, 90 kilometers away from the urban area and 21 kilometers away from the county seat. The scenic area is located in a grand canyon about 10 kilometers long, with a total area of 9 million square meters, of which the water surface area is 6 million square meters and the building area is 260 thousand square meters. It is 5 kilometers long from east to west, and 1.5 kilometers wide from south to north. It is named for the lake in the canyon, caves in the mountains, and the ever-flowing stream.
