The truth becomes clearer through debate - Li Dingxin's reply to Mr. Huang Bingzhen's email

My new work "Correcting Chaos" is about to go to print at the end of this announcement on June 9, 2006. On that day, a clerk named Xiao Zhong gave me a copy of Mr. Huang Bingzhen's email and a downloaded article by Liu Fengran from An远, Jiangxi (also known as Yi Hai Yi Shu) titled "First Visit to Qing Yongling". After reading them, I felt compelled to share my thoughts.

I am 85 years old, and all I seek in my remaining years is to pass down the authentic Yang Gong Feng Shui culture. I detest those who use Yang Gong Feng Shui as a front for peddling江湖(jianghu) Feng Shui tricks, being both unlearned and deceitful. As for whether I truly understand Yang Gong Feng Shui, please refer to my humble work, "A Detailed Explanation of the 49 Layers of the Chinese Luo Pan." This is the result of 60 years of Feng Shui research. Without reservation, I believe it is a pivotal book for learning Chinese Feng Shui, bridging past and future knowledge. Its academic standing will naturally be judged by the public. I trust that renowned scholars like Cheng Jianjun and Yang Qinwen, who hold prestigious positions in higher education, would not lack the ability to discern and choose to study under me.

I have repeatedly advised Liu Fengran to learn authentic Yang Gong Feng Shui and avoid practicing a mishmash form of Feng Shui that misleads young people. Despite my earnest concern, he has completely ignored my advice. The truth of this matter is witnessed by heaven and earth, but how much do those outside the situation really know? To rush to judgment without fully understanding the circumstances is impulsive and demanding. The principle of "letting a hundred flowers bloom and a hundred schools of thought contend" benefits the world by sharpening people's eyes and clarifying the truth through debate. I believe the public will ultimately reach a fair conclusion.
