Led by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage and hosted by the China Cultural Relics Newspaper and the Archaeological Society of China, the "Top ten new archaeological discoveries in 2006" will be selected next Monday (8). It is reported that 24 projects, including the Qiliting Paleolithic site in Changxing, Zhejiang Province, have entered the "final" and will be announced on the spot after anonymous voting by the judges on the afternoon of the 8th.
