Cross-stitch fabric also comes in different specifications. Generally speaking, it can be divided into 9CT, 11CT, 14CT, 16CT, 18CT, 28CT, and 32CT, among others.

So, what exactly do these specifications mean? Let me explain using 9CT fabric as an example. A 9CT fabric means that there are 9 grids in one inch (2.54 cm) of the fabric. Similarly, 11CT fabric means there are 11 grids in one inch (2.54 cm), and 14CT fabric means there are 14 grids in one inch (2.54 cm)... and so on. Simply put, XXCT means there are XX grids in one inch of fabric.
