As a kind of component used to realize pipeline system communication and flow control, butterfly valve has been widely used in many fields such as petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy and hydropower. In the well-known butterfly valve technology, its sealing form mostly adopts sealing structure, and the sealing material is rubber, PTFE, etc. Due to the limitation of structural characteristics, it is not suitable for high temperature, high pressure, corrosion resistance and wear resistance industries.
At present, there is a more advanced butterfly valve: three-eccentric metal hard seal butterfly valve. The valve body and valve seat are integral components, and the sealing surface layer of the valve seat is welded with alloy materials that are resistant to high temperature and corrosion. The multi-layer soft folded sealing ring is fixed on the valve plate. Compared with traditional butterfly valves, this butterfly valve has the advantages of being resistant to high temperatures, easy to operate, no friction when opening and closing, and compensating sealing by increasing the torque of the transmission mechanism when closing, which improves the sealing performance of the butterfly valve and extends its service life.
