[Photo Group] Unveiling the World's Largest Laser: 192 Beams Ignite the Artificial Sun

According to the US "Wired" magazine website, scientists at the National Ignition Facility (NIF) of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) hope to use 192 lasers and a device composed of an array of amplifiers and filters 400 feet long to create a self-sustaining fusion reactor like the sun or an exploding nuclear bomb.
