Turn a hard drive into a clock.

A friend named Alan actually turned an old hard drive into a fully functional clock. He used twelve high-energy LEDs to display the clock indicators and utilized a programmable PIC16F628 microcontroller to control the clock. Unfortunately, this idea wasn't very practical, and the old hard drive was quite noisy. I guess not many people would like the sound it makes.
