According to Britain's New Scientist magazine, about 150 million years ago, the rulers of the earth were the dinosaurs, and sauropods were the main characters among them. The sauropods, a kind of herbivorous dinosaur, were over 30 meters in length, and had long necks and tails. Their sturdy legs supported barrel-like bodies. This family also included the Diplodocus, Brachiosaurus, and Brontosaurus.
