[Photo Group] The Great Escape of Sardine Swarms in South African Waters

According to the latest report of the British Daily Mail, in order to escape from a group of natural enemies, tens of thousands of silver sardines swam away in panic. Several dolphins swam into the sardine shoal from below, blackfin sharks and tiger sharks swam upstream for food, and pelicans dived down from above to chase.

The magnificent migration of sardines is really a natural wonder that cannot be missed by the sea, which naturally "attracted" the attention of sharks, dolphins and other predators. A hunting battle soon broke out, and the whole beach fell into chaos in a flash. This is the famous "Sardine Run", a natural wonder staged on the coast of KwaZulu-Natal in eastern South Africa every June and July when sharks look for cold-water plankton.

The instinctive collective movement of sardines is to confuse their natural enemies. However, as the saying goes, the higher the Tao, the more powerful the devil, and their natural enemies have also learned to unite and cooperate, attacking from all sides. Such a spectacular scene used to happen frequently in the oceans of Europe and America, but later, due to long-term sardine fishing, these waters have rarely seen the magnificent sight of the "Great Sardine Escape".
