08 Eureka Prize for Science Photography announced: a joey suckling inside the pouch

The Eureka Prizes for Science Photography 2008, jointly organized by the New Scientist magazine of the UK and the Australian Museum, has recently revealed its winners. The top 25 photographs are currently on a tour of Australia. The science described in this exhibition is amazing, from capturing the power of explosive ballistics to showing the beauty of lunar eclipses, from highlighting the destructiveness of climate change to showing the persistence of storm chasers.
