The CCN Open Source Innovation Joint Laboratory, jointly established by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Software and Integrated Circuit Promotion Center (CSIP), National University of Defense Technology, and Canonical, officially released its first major work today in Beijing: UbuntuKylin 13.04.UbuntuKylin has carried out extensive localization work based on Ubuntu. This system is also an operating system officially recognized by the Ubuntu community, and CCN has fully developed this product according to the open-source model. The UbuntuKylin system will also follow the convention of releasing a new version every six months. Currently, only the desktop version has been released, but there may be versions for mobile phones and tablets introduced in the future.In order to align with the international version, UbuntuKylin 13.04 has currently only added features such as the Chinese lunar calendar and music search. It also provides sticky note functionality!3. Weather Plugin: Provides weather forecast information from the China Meteorological Administration, offering references for daily life and travel.4. Chinese Input Method: Default use of Fcitx input method, supporting cloud-based pinyin input with smarter predictive text functionality.5. Collaboration with WPS: Provides the domestic office software WPS, compatible with various document formats, featuring powerful graphic layout functions and rich online resources, making document work more professional and easier.6.
