Puppy Linux 4.00, an operating system that can be installed on a USB drive, has been released.

Six months after the release of Puppy Linux 3.01, the latest version of Puppy Linux 4.00 has been released. Puppy Linux 4.00 is less than 88MB in size, yet it comes with a large number of drivers for scanners, printers, and digital cameras, as well as software for music recording, editing, and conversion. Puppy Linux 4.00 even includes a complete office environment. Compactness is the biggest feature of Puppy Linux; it is small enough to run in the memory of early computers. Puppy can run on almost all hardware.
