Operating system on USB, Lucid Puppy Linux 5.2, has been released.

Lucid Puppy Linux 5.2 is another branch of Puppy Linux. It is based on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (Lucid Lynx), and because of this, Lucid Puppy Linux 5.2 can be compatible with the vast majority of binary packages in Ubuntu, providing more convenient software installation support for Lucid Puppy Linux 5.2. Lucid Puppy Linux 5.2 is an upgraded version of Lucid Puppy Linux 5.1.1.

Lucid Puppy Linux 5.2 is a fully functional mini Linux distribution. It belongs to the same Puppy family as Wary Puppy Linux 5.0, which was released not long ago as an operating system on USB drives. Although it is only tens of MB in size, it comes with a large number of drivers for scanners, printers, and digital cameras, as well as software for music recording, editing, and conversion. Due to its small size and minimal resource usage, Puppy Linux can be used efficiently on older computers, allowing old machines to continue functioning effectively through Puppy Linux, without worrying about privacy being collected.
