Process for Dealing with the Crackdown on the Function of Displaying the Opponent's IP Address in Non-Official QQ Versions

Regarding non-official QQ versions (including but not limited to Rainbow QQ, Chuanmei QQ, Kuangren QQ, etc.), which support functions such as displaying the opponent when they are hidden and showing their IP address, these functionalities infringe upon our company's commitment to protecting user privacy rights. Additionally, they have a severely negative impact on our official QQ version.

To combat these illegal versions, we will take corresponding measures to render all additional functions of non-official QQ versions that display hidden status or IP addresses ineffective (specifically, the IPs and geographical locations displayed by their add-ons will all be incorrect, for example, showing foreign countries instead of actual locations). The geographical location function inherent in the official QQ version will remain unaffected.

Importance: Level Three

This measure will significantly impact non-official QQ versions. Developers, maintainers, and some supporters of non-official QQ may attempt to create public opinion unfavorable to our company. Some individuals might call certain departments within our company to "inquire," "complain," or ask questions related to "non-official QQ" services, gathering information that could help generate negative publicity. They may also record these calls or seek notarization for such actions. (Please understand this background but strictly refrain from spreading it externally.)
