In Nevada, USA, there is a city ruled by the Grim Reaper called Death City. Within Death City lies the specialized school for Death Scythes operated by the Grim Reaper. The school is commonly abbreviated as DWMA (Death Weapon Meister Academy). The students are divided into Meisters and Weapons. They hunt the souls of criminals according to the Grim Reaper’s orders.
