Ponyo on the Cliff (High Definition)

Five-year-old Sousuke lives in a small seaside town, with his home situated on a cliff overlooking the sea. One day, while exploring the shore, Sousuke finds an old glass bottle washed up by the waves. Inside the bottle is a trapped little goldfish named Ponyo. Ponyo is actually the daughter of the mermaid queen who accidentally got stuck in the bottle while sneaking out for an adventure on a jellyfish.

Sousuke takes Ponyo home and keeps her in a plastic basin. Ponyo enjoys her time at Sousuke's house; she likes Sousuke, and he likes her too. However, their happy days are short-lived as Ponyo's father, Fujimoto, comes to take her back to the underwater world. Fujimoto was once a fisherman who fell in love with the mermaid queen and now resides under the sea.

After returning home, Ponyo misses Sousuke deeply and makes a bold decision — she wants to become human and be with Sousuke. With the help of her sisters, Ponyo steals her father's magical tool and swims towards the human world. Unexpectedly, the life water filled with dangerous magic goes out of control.
