Marlin is not an easy-to-use website, and there may be some improvements in the future. Currently, we need to solve how to make everyone familiar with Marlin faster, so we put some frequently asked questions here for a collective answer.
1. What can I do on Marlin?
Answer: Everyone has laziness and hopes to gain recognition from others. Marlin provides a service of "coercion + encouragement" by way of friend supervision that helps you complete the tasks you have set, thereby managing time reasonably.
It's best to invite a few friends to register for Marlin together, add each other as good friends, then create a task and add your friends as supervisors.
A. During the execution of your task (before the deadline you set), all registered users can predict whether you can complete the task on time. If you bet 10 small red flags, when the supervisor approves the completion of the task, the system will give double the number of small red flags as a reward to all friends who predicted successfully based on whether the task was completed ahead of schedule or on time.
B. If the task is overdue, then the task will display a "reminder function" (hide the "prediction function"). All registered users can input a piece of text, click submit to remind, and the system will send the content to the email of the task creator to urge them to complete the task as soon as possible.
C. The task creator can click "apply for task completion" during the execution period or after the task is overdue, and write some evidence proving the completion of the task. After reviewing your evidence, all supervisors of the task can choose to approve the completion of the task, at which point the task officially ends.
D. In various task states, the functions displayed by the task are different, and the functions seen by different roles are also different.
2. How do I add someone as a friend?
You can select from the page of all registered users on Marlin to enter the homepage of a friend of interest, or you can directly enter your friend's address, such as http://www.marlin.com.cn/flyfish.mm, to enter your friend's homepage and select the add friend link. The method for deleting friends is the same.
3. What is the use of small red flags? Where are small red flags consumed?
Small red flags are virtual coins in the Marlin system, and they will definitely be useful in the future, but let's keep it secret for a while :)
Currently, places where small red flags are consumed include:
New task creation: consumes 2 small red flags.
