There are many people in this world, and I firmly believe they know how vast the world is. But their behaviors seem to show an unwillingness to admit or confront the greatness of reality. So, what does this look like in daily life? For instance, when you express a thought or idea, oh boy, most of the people around you won't readily accept it. Once they realize what you're about to say, they've already started thinking about how to use their own logic to knock down your argument, perspective, or understanding. And often, this kind of situation happens between elders and juniors, superiors and subordinates, the strong and the weak.
I'm writing this article not with any expectation of change, but merely to share some personal thoughts in a simple and understandable way so we can face this foolish interpersonal dynamic ourselves. If it doesn't provoke any thought from you, then it means I haven't written it well. But if you find yourself reflecting a bit after reading it, then you're truly my kindred spirit, my friend.
