The Chinese Ministry of Health pointed out on the evening of September 11 that, several cases of infants with urinary calculi have been reported in Gansu and other areas recently. The survey found that the babies were mostly fed with Sanlu brand infant formula. Relevant departments investigation highly suspects that the Sanlu brand infant formula produced by Shijiazhuang Sanlu Group Co., Ltd. was contaminated by melamine.
