To let users contribute content to your website, you must understand that you need to bring benefits and value to the users who contribute content for you.

A Web 2.0 site should first make users develop a good impression of it.

Then it should bring value and benefits to users, providing some simple functions that can actually solve certain problems, giving users some incentives.

The principle is actually very simple. For example, when dealing with children, a kind smile is much better than being stern. If you give them a piece of candy, things will go smoother afterward.
