As the sequel to the action film "XXX" which achieved great box office success in 2002, "XXX2" once again attracts fans' eager anticipation with its strong cast, fierce and dazzling action scenes, and cool, eye-catching super equipment. Due to a shift in political winds, a beloved US President becomes a thorn in the side of radical elements within the government and is locked as an assassination target. Only the two protagonists in the movie can save the critical situation: one is Augustus Gibb (Samuel Jackson), who has just narrowly escaped from the top-secret headquarters of the National Security Agency and is evading pursuit; the other is Darius Stone (Ice Cube), a highly decorated special forces soldier currently imprisoned in a high-security military prison.

In the previous installment, Augustus had guided an agent to complete a difficult mission. This time, he and weapons expert Tony Lee Cheefer (Michael Rooker) were mysteriously pursued by killers at the underground command center of the National Security Agency. Augustus suspects that these killers have been dispatched by radical elements within the government, intent on overthrowing the state power. Thus, he hopes to recruit an agent to expose the evil conspiracy of the bad apples. This agent not only needs to possess extraordinary military qualities but also must be absolutely loyal and have keen insight into the current rebellion situation as an outsider. Although Augustus found his ideal candidate, Darius Stone, this agent he dreams of is currently serving time in prison. Darius was imprisoned by military police for assaulting a superior officer. Augustus goes to great lengths to help Darius escape from prison successfully and convinces him to take on the heavy responsibility of rescuing the president and the country in distress.

In the White House, the moderate President Sanford (Peter Strauss) has always had ideological differences with the radical Defense Minister George Dyke, who used to be the superior of both Augustus and Darius. When Dyke attends a government reception, Darius infiltrates the venue disguised as a waiter, attempting to gather internal information. At the banquet, Darius meets Charlie Shawver (Sonnie McBryde), the daughter of a cabinet official, who later helps Darius escape from danger.

While Darius is on his rescue mission, he is still being pursued by FBI agent Kyle Steele, who believes Darius is an extremely dangerous criminal and wants to make a name for himself. To complete the mission, Darius finds two old partners from their days on the streets of Washington. One is his ex-girlfriend Lola, who now runs a luxury car dealership, and the other is Chick, the owner of a custom car shop. Not only do they become Darius's capable assistants, but they also provide him with cutting-edge weapons. President Sanford is kidnapped in the Capitol Building.
