The story takes place in the near future, in an atmosphere still thick with the residue of war, as the global power structure enters a new era - even a private company can control a country. The political stage of Trakistan is filled with ironic absurdities. This country, almost fragmented and ravaged by war, has just been occupied by a private enterprise run by a former U.S. vice president. In order to monopolize supply lines severed by war, the company's executives hire Brand Hauser, a hitman unconstrained by nationality, to secretly plot the assassination of a Middle Eastern oil minister.

However, Brand himself is already someone who likes to stir up trouble, and his contradictory nature makes his career as a hitman increasingly narrow, almost leading him down a dead-end path. He's not only executing missions but also painfully wrestling with his increasingly severe inner demons. To successfully complete the assassination, Brand disguises himself as a trade exhibitor for the company and attends the high-profile wedding of Unica Bebe, a popular Middle Eastern pop star, to the son of an oil tycoon. However, during this process, he unexpectedly finds himself falling for Natalie, a sexy left-wing radical journalist, which once again pushes his already chaotic world to the brink of upheaval.
