Skype is 5 years old. This excellent VOIP software, since its release on August 29, 2003, has quickly become popular worldwide. Just a few days after its launch, the number of concurrent online users on Skype approached 10,000. Since then, various features have been added to Skype, such as video calls, voicemail, and the ability to dial traditional phones. Most importantly, Skype has changed the way people communicate while also enabling people to run small businesses at low cost.
