Microsoft released the feature-complete test upgrade version IE8 Beta2 on the 27th of this month. This version enhances privacy, usability, and security. However, Microsoft has not yet disclosed when IE8 will be officially launched. Hidden within this new version are two features that could indirectly impact the advertising model of competitors like Google, as well as the market share of map services.
