Youdao Map beta version is officially released

Youdao Map Search provides functions such as map search, public transportation route lookup, and driving route search. Below the search box, choose a specific search method to perform a detailed search. The above figure selects the "map search" method; below we will specifically introduce the "map search" function.

A. Display current city

Shows the city you are currently in, as system default. Click "Search nationwide", and you can change the default search scope to "nationwide"; click "modify", to change the current city, and search for the query term within the scope of other cities.

B. Display locations matching the query term

Displays a list of locations that match the query term. Clicking on each location will display a pop-up box in the right-side map area, showing detailed information about that location.

C. Detailed location information

Clicking on the location marker on the map or clicking on the location name on the left will display detailed information about that location in a pop-up box. The displayed content includes: the detailed address of the location, category information, etc., and you can also look up surrounding information and public transportation routes for this result.
