Different types of enterprises have different minimum limits on registered capital. In the current economic environment, the enterprise forms closer to those who start businesses include: non-corporate enterprise legal person, limited liability company, joint-stock limited company, individual business household, private sole proprietorship enterprise, and private partnership enterprise. The minimum limit of registered capital and basic requirements for registration are as follows:

1. Non-corporate Enterprise Legal Person: Minimum registered capital of RMB 30,000 Basic Requirements:

(1) A name and articles of association that comply with regulations;

(2) Property granted by the state for enterprise management or property owned by the enterprise, and the ability to bear civil liability with its property;

(3) Management institutions, financial accounting institutions, labor organizations, and other institutions specified by law or the articles of association that are commensurate with the scale of production and operation;

(4) Necessary business premises and facilities that are commensurate with the scope of operations;

(5) Employees that are commensurate with the scale and business of production and operation, including no less than 8 full-time staff members;

(6) A sound financial system that can implement independent accounting, bear profits and losses on its own, and independently compile balance sheets;

(7) Registered capital in compliance with the prescribed amount and commensurate with the scope of operations. The registered capital of an enterprise legal person shall not be less than RMB 30,000. If there are special provisions for the amount of enterprise registered capital, such special provisions shall apply;

(8) Business scope that complies with national laws, regulations, and policies.
