US stocks soared on Friday. As of 22:53 last night, the Dow Jones Index had temporarily risen by 195.74 points to 11,625.95, the S&P 500 Index rose by 14 points to 1,292, and the Nasdaq rose by 29 points to 2,409. The Dow closed with a slight increase of 12.78 points on Thursday, reporting at 11,430.21 points.

The main factor leading to the significant rise in US stocks during Friday's early trading session was news regarding the acquisition of Lehman Brothers, while the decline in oil prices also served as a positive factor. During the same time, oil prices temporarily fell by $2.52 to $118.69 per barrel. According to Reuters, South Korea’s KDB (Korea Development Bank) is interested in acquiring Lehman Brothers; however, a spokesperson for Lehman refused to make any comments on this matter.
