The Luban Award for Chinese construction projects was established in 1987. It has a history of more than 20 years and is the highest honor for national construction project quality. The Luban Award is known for its strict evaluation program and detailed examination of projects. The committee spent over a year tracking the Bird's Nest project. During this period, Haier central air conditioners showed stable operation quality, excellent performance, and all indicators reached Luban Award standards, receiving much praise from the evaluation experts. After the examination ended, the Bird's Nest sent a letter of thanks to the Haier Group. The text read: "The multi-split central air conditioning installation project undertaken by Haier at the National Stadium (Bird's Nest) has been inspected and has reached the acceptance standard of the Luban Award. With the strong support of Haier, Project Manager Guo Mo and his team have demonstrated the spirit of Haier - daring to fight and willing to contribute. They coordinated well during construction, pursued excellence, and successfully completed their tasks, making due contributions to the Olympic project. The National Stadium hereby gives commendation and thanks."
