Among three thousand drowning people, I can only save one.

Buddha asked a man under the Bodhi tree, "In the eyes of the secular world, you are rich and powerful, and have a loving wife. Why are you still not happy?"

The man replied, "Precisely because of this, I don't know how to choose."

Buddha smiled and said, "Let me tell you a story. One day, a traveler was about to die of thirst, so out of compassion, Buddha placed a lake before this person. But the person did not drink a single drop. Buddha was very curious and asked why. The person replied: There is so much water in the lake, but my stomach is so small. Since I can't drink it all at once, then I might as well not drink any."

Having told the story, Buddha revealed a radiant smile and said to the unhappy man, "Remember, in your life, you may encounter many beautiful things, but as long as you seize one of them with all your heart, that's enough. There are three thousand rivers of weak water, but one ladle is all you need to drink."
