Letter to China National Geography Magazine (Original of this site, welcome to reprint!)

The theme of this issue of the magazine is "The Chinese People's Scenic Highway - National Road 318". I think this term is very inappropriate, and personally, I believe it is a serious mistake.

Your magazine, as the most authoritative on domestic geography, landforms, scenery, and culture, can consider National Road 318 as "China's Scenic Highway" based on your own perspective, but you should not call it "The Chinese People's Scenic Highway."

Everyone has the right to freely hold their own value judgments. Imposing non-personal value concepts on others is an infringement upon people's most basic rights! Perhaps National Road 318 is China's most concentrated scenic highway, but that does not mean it is the scenic highway in every Chinese person's heart.
