Please follow me to carefully study the South Korean currency.

The banknotes are divided into three denominations: 10,000 won, 5,000 won, and 1,000 won. The front of the banknotes prints the portraits of King Sejong the Great (1397-1450), Yi Eon (1536-1584), and Yi Hwang (1501-1570), who are representative great figures in Korea; while the back of the notes features places associated with each of these great men. For example, the Gyeonghoeru Pavilion on the 10,000 won note, the Oju Hall on the 5,000 won note, and the Tosan Academy on the 1,000 won note.
