Baidu announces Q3 financial report: Net profit of 85.3 million yuan, increasing more than 9 times year-on-year

Beijing, November 1 (2006) -- Baidu.com, Inc. (Nasdaq: BIDU) today announced its unaudited financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2006. The net profit increased by 45.8% compared to the second quarter of 2006 and surged by 902.5% compared to the third quarter of 2005, reaching approximately RMB 85.3 million.
