Kaspersky Lab sues Rising for unfair competition

The lawsuit between Baske and Rising originated from the mistaken killing battle in May this year. Kaspersky's antivirus software mistakenly killed Rising's anti-spyware, Caca Online Security Assistant, and refused to apologize. Later, both parties engaged in a war of words.

In this incident, Rising initially came on strong, demanding that Kaspersky apologize within 12 hours. After being ignored, they revealed 22 instances of misjudgment by the opponent over the past six months. Recently, Rising also claimed to have obtained substantial evidence proving that Kaspersky has hired multiple forum and blog dissemination companies and numerous forum guns for hire since last September, impersonating users to maliciously defame Rising's products and corporate image. They also issued an announcement offering a bounty of one million yuan to collect more evidence from all sectors of society and will initiate international litigation against Kaspersky.

Unexpectedly, Kaspersky, relatively silent in the war of words, suddenly struck first by directly suing Rising in court. This could be considered the most aggressive move by foreign antivirus software since the beginning of this year. How will this litigation conclude? Will the antivirus software market become calm or experience further turmoil? We will continue to follow the developments.
