Opinions on Blog Promotion | In the Clouds

Today, I read an article related to blogging, which was about blog promotion. Regarding this, I have the same feelings. We have written so many words and once took our blogs seriously, but it's hard to increase the traffic. Over time, our passion is gradually consumed by the harsh reality. Look at how many people start their blog life every day, and how many people who once had a blog impulse are now exiting. I've seen many blogs whose latest posts were still in 2005. I really want to ask the owners of these blogs if they still remember having such a blog, if they still remember those clumsy yet sincere words they wrote back then. Undoubtedly, these blog owners have abandoned their blogs. For them personally, it may be out of helplessness, but for the blog hosting providers, it is cruel.

All these problems boil down to one fundamental issue: blog traffic. We are not people who seek tranquility or those doing secret work requiring a low profile. As "grassroots" individuals, we yearn for recognition and more attention. We hope to have sincere friendships online. I believe this is also the initial wish of every blogger when they started. But reality is cruel. Blogs give many people hope and ideals, but also bring the pain of shattered dreams to even more people.
