"The Dongguan Miracle" once again captured the world's attention. The Fifth International Forum on Urban Competitiveness yesterday (the 27th) released in Yangzhou the "2007-2008 Global Urban Competitiveness Report" (hereinafter referred to as the "Report"). Dongguan, together with Baotou, Hohhot, Yantai and other cities, was listed by the Report as one of the fastest-growing cities in the world over the past five years. In the ranking of the most competitive cities, Hong Kong ranked 26th, Shanghai 41st, Shenzhen 64th, and Beijing 66th.
