New Features Disclosed in Firefox 3.1 Alpha 1

Yesterday, FireFox released a bug-fixing version 3.0.1, and now the latest milestone version is coming out. Mozilla has announced the information about Firefox 3.1 Alpha1, with the development code name "Shiretoko". The code has been frozen, and the preliminary release date is set for July 25th.

It is expected that shortly after the release of Alpha, the first Beta1 version will be available, and Beta2 will also be released within August. Therefore, the progress is still quite fast, and the official version will be announced at the end of 08 or the beginning of 09.
