Although Microsoft has officially stopped shipping Windows XP on June 30th, software retailers including Amazon are still selling it hotly. Amazon surprisingly found that while Microsoft has stopped selling the product, the number of orders placed by consumers on the website increased significantly. Windows XP Home even ranked 15th in the overall software ranking, and the Pro version ranked 21st.
