Since the silhouette is completely black, your brain makes the judgment about its orientation. From the figure above, it can be seen that for the same position, your brain can interpret two different results: one where the left leg is supporting the weight and another where the right leg is supporting it. This entirely depends on how your brain initially perceives the posture of the silhouette, which then determines the direction of its rotation.
There’s a rumor that if you use your right hand, the figure will always appear to rotate clockwise, while if you use your left hand, it will appear to rotate counterclockwise.
For me, at first glance, it appeared to rotate clockwise, but when I tilted my head, it started to look like it was rotating counterclockwise.
