Download APK files directly from Google Play

Due to carrier, device model, or regional restrictions, many apps on Google Play cannot be downloaded. Isn't that frustrating?

You can try looking for them on third-party markets, but sometimes you just can't find what you're looking for. Power users can't stand not being able to download the apps they want. In the past, there was a method to directly download APKs from the Google Play Store by installing an extension in Chrome, but this has long been blocked by Google.

Now there's a new way. Overseas tech enthusiasts have found another method to directly download APK files from the Play Store on your computer.

Here are the steps:

First, open the website: http://apps.evozi.com/apk-downloader/

In the middle box, enter the URL of the app you want to download.

Click the "Generate Download Link" button and wait for the download link to be generated.

Once it's done, click the green "Click here to download" button below, and you're all set.

Usage tips:

After testing, apps that are marked as compatible in the Google Play Store can be downloaded, and even incompatible ones can be handled (though this only applies to free apps; paid apps cannot be downloaded).

For apps or games that require data packages, this method only provides the APK download; the data package is still unavailable. Compared to the previous method of adding an extension in Chrome, this method eliminates the hassle of binding a device ID, making it simpler and more user-friendly.
