Baidu's wearable device website (http://x.baidu.com/wearable) was quietly launched the other day. Apart from the already known products, Rong Band and inWatch, the official website also shows that three new wearable devices will be released. Baidu Open Cloud will provide these devices with technologies such as image facial recognition and voice recognition.
It is reported that Baidu has already formed a team covering hardware, software, and cloud services to conduct research and development on wearable devices. Currently, Baidu has filed dozens of patents in the field of wearable devices.
From Baidu's wearable device website, it can be speculated that the upcoming products might be a smartwatch, bracelet, and electronic scale.
