In the competition over curved screen phones, Samsung launched the Galaxy Round before LG. The other day, Samsung teamed up with SK Telecom in South Korea to officially release the first TV advertisement for the Galaxy Round.
In the roughly 30-second advertisement, Samsung showcases a large number of curved objects, using this to convey that curves are more user-friendly, ultimately highlighting the concept of the Galaxy Round's curved screen. However, despite all the examples Samsung provided, it seems one shape most similar to it was missing.
But there are reports indicating that this phone will only be available for sale in South Korea and will not be released in other markets in the future. Perhaps Samsung hasn't figured out how to introduce to users exactly what benefits a curved-screen phone can bring us.
It's definitely not about being ultra-thin to prevent side leaks, right?
