The first mobile device running Tizen has been released in Japan, targeting developers and including documentation and development tools. Tizen is a Linux-based operating system, with major supporters including Intel and Samsung. This Tizen tablet was developed by the Japanese company Systena, with hardware specifications including a quad-core 1.4GHz Cortex-A9 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200 touch screen, a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera, running the Tizen 2.1 system. The price of this tablet is unknown.
