Today, Microsoft has released a new IE11 update (KB2901549) for Windows 8.1, Windows RT 8.1, and Windows Server 2012 R2 users, primarily enhancing the stability of the IE11 browser.
The size of this update is 11.3MB. Users will need to restart their systems after installation is complete. Microsoft has not disclosed detailed release notes for this update.
If your system is set to "Automatic Updates," you don't need to do anything as the system will automatically download and install the update. If "Automatic Updates" is not enabled, you can simply type "Windows Update" on the Start screen and then select "Check for updates" to install the update.
