In the eyes of Apple CEO Tim Cook, the iPad Air is an excellent product. But what does Steve Wozniak, one of the former co-founders of Apple, think about the new iPad Air?
Following the launch of Apple's new iPad, the tech website Macworld interviewed Woz in the UK. The tech enthusiast immediately expressed his disappointment. Although the iPad Air is thinner than its predecessors, "When I finally saw the new iPad, I realized it couldn't meet my needs," he said.
It turns out that Woz is a fan of "The Big Bang Theory" and doesn't have broadband at home. The hotels where he frequently stays also don't offer good broadband services. However, he almost stores all his personal media content on his iPad. Therefore, the storage space of the iPad is extremely important to him, and the reason he dislikes the new iPad is because its storage capacity isn't enough.
Woz stated, "I hope Apple will release an iPad with 256GB of storage. I also want more storage space so I can store every episode of 'The Big Bang Theory.' So, I sent a message to my wife, 'Forget it, I don't need (the iPad Air).' According to this demand, there aren't many tablet devices currently available that could satisfy Woz's needs.
Of course, Woz's preferences only represent a small portion of the market and do not define the future of the new iPad. Moreover, for many users, the thinner and more powerful iPad Air still holds considerable appeal.
